Rinicom to Attend BAE Warton

Rinicom is proud to be exhibiting at BAE Warton on the 22nd May. Showing drone detection system Sky Patriot and Software Defined Radio.

The illegal use of drones has become a pressing security concern across the world as proved by the recent disruptions to major airports caused by drones. Addressing the threat and impact of illegal drone usage, Rinicom and Saher (UK) have jointly developed a specialised training programme designed for security and operations professionals dealing with drone invasions around airports, prisons, and critical infrastructure.

The course has been developed together with industry leading drone and law enforcements experts and covers topics such as the current threat landscape, legal and regulatory powers, counter measures, risk assessment, and strategic response. The course is delivered over 2 days at the customer’s location.

Please contact Rinicom or Saher (UK) for further information.

We would like to say thank you to all our visitors who took the time to visit our stand at the World ATM Conference in Madrid last week. We enjoyed the opportunity to present our combined visual drone detection and situational awareness ATM platform solution.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or requests for further information.

Rinicom and 42 Solutions will have a joined booth (#183) at the World ATM conference March 12-14 in Madrid. We will be demonstrating:

  • Rinicom’s drone sensor technology, SkyPatriot
  • Our joint CUPS development
  • 42 Solutions Merlin ATC Fallback system.

On the CUPS system we will be showing a first prototype, where, for now, the operator will be able to mark detected drones as a threat. On the Merlin display, with normal air traffic, the drone location will be highlighted as a threat.

If you are at the WATMC we would of course love seeing you and be happy to give you a demonstration.

Rinicom is delighted to be the supplier of advanced electro-optical components to our partners at ST Electronics for their SkyArcher counter-UAV system. As shown here, the issue of drones flying illegally is an international problem and Rinicom is working continuously developing new technologies to support the authorities in preventing situations as experienced at Gatwick Airport in December 2018
